Study: Jesus Friends and Family

Hello readers!
Today I am introducing something new. I am planning on starting a weekly bible study for my neighborhood and I'm inviting you guys too! I'll be posting updates here on what we will be studying and you guys can put your input and have a discussion in the comments.

We will be studying about Jesus' friends and family. We will be using the books by Karen Kingsbury called The Friends of Jesus and The Family of Jesus. You can buy these books at a local book store or you can go online to Karen Kingsbury

In our next post we will go into detail about the study and what each week will look like. Weekly challenges will also be assigned to help get you into the study more

Life In The Midst Of Sorrow

There was a time when I had thought I had it all, life was perfect, I was happy, I had everything I needed. Or so I thought I did...I soon realized what I thought I'd had, had already been gone. Funny how sometimes you hold onto things thinking you are doing such a good job only to realize it's already slipped away and it's just imagination. Anyway... In A Different Way

Many parents have their way of doing things...I propose we do things In A Different Way here are some ways parents DO their things The "Empowerment" Way 1. Because I can, because I said so The "Comparison" Way 2.  So and So would never do that! Why can't you be like (name here). The "Simple" Way   3. your grounded. I'm taking your phone! Go to your room! Tell your dad (tell your mom) These ways can work (they often do, ask any parent!) but we aren't here to do it the EASY way, we're here to teach our kids. The truth is...some kids don't learn from the Easy Way but most parents aren't willing to try any other way. They use excuses like "it worked for them...it works on my other kid(s).
