We are all so focused on our own problems in our lives that we aren't reaching out to others with their problems. We are the church and we hold hope in our lives by loving others but we aren't doing that. We focus too much on ourselves.
How to raise God loving children? Provide a good example to the children . John 13:15 – "I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do." Parents cannot successfully teach their children if they cannot show in their own doings what they preach. Children can detect the slightest deviation and hypocrisy no matter how hard parents try to hide them. Show your children the right priorities . Matthew 6:33 – "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you beside." Setting aside your personal pleasure to prioritize God in your life will teach your children how to offer their own little sacrifices to build a strong relationship with the Lord. This topic is one we have touched on before but I wanted to bring it back fresh in your memory.
