Patience is very important because without it there is so much we can't do

Many parents have their way of doing things...I propose we do things In A Different Way here are some ways parents DO their things The "Empowerment" Way 1. Because I can, because I said so The "Comparison" Way 2. So and So would never do that! Why can't you be like (name here). The "Simple" Way 3. your grounded. I'm taking your phone! Go to your room! Tell your dad (tell your mom) These ways can work (they often do, ask any parent!) but we aren't here to do it the EASY way, we're here to teach our kids. The truth is...some kids don't learn from the Easy Way but most parents aren't willing to try any other way. They use excuses like "it worked for them...it works on my other kid(s). They just don't take the time. Then parents are left wondering "why do my kids never listen?" The problem is that kids aren't being taught.
