I started this blog to help others because I faced struggles and I wanted to help others through those hard times so they wouldn't be alone.  A Few Quick Tips About Family What is family? Why is family so important? Family is the foundation of the world. It grounds us, gives us a safe place to turn to, and supports us like no other A few quick tips:   1. Love one another, support each other. Don't forget to tell each other I love you or how proud you are! 2. respect one another. Do not lie, do not cheat, do not try to trick each other.  3. never forget who your family is. Family is forever so don't ever mess it up or hurt them. 4. sometimes it's best to just let the other win. Don't be afraid to admit when you are wrong 5. don't ever forget any of these things because these things are foundation for a great family! Stick together and everything will work out 👍

 These three things...they are all we ever need so why do we trade them in for sadness, anger, fear, hate, doubt, and worry? Don't we all just want peace at the end of the day? Why then do we bring bad upon ourselves by allowing negative emotions or feelings in? What if we all just chose to love others, have faith and believe, and just hope... How different would things be? What would the world look like?  I challenge you this week to think about this and take every moment to express one of these

 Today's topic is all about family The Expectations (what we want it to be like) VS. Reality (what it actually is like) Many think family is perfect and happy all the time. That it's all good. The problem with that is, it's not reality and we will be disappointed when we find that out. Nothing is ever perfect and there are times when fights happen or people disagree. It is an inevitable part of life we must all face at some point but many just want to ignore it. If we had it the way we want it, everything would be perfect and we'd never fight or be unhappy.

 This is to anyone who is hurting or just needs to hear something to lift them up... You can get through anything. Things may seem hard and endless now but things will get better and you will be very joyful. I have gone through hard times in my life, thinking they would never end, and they do. I am always stronger when I come through a difficult situation. If I were to just give up, I wouldn't be where I am right now. I am telling you as someone who's been there, someone who knows, it will get better. Most situations are temporary and may hurt in the moment but tend to make sense afterwards.  You got this friend!  There was once a girl that liked to go walking in the woods and sit in the peaceful quiet. One particular morning, she decided to go exploring to a new spot. She found what looked like a pathway so she went to follow it but she kept running into hedges that got in her way. There were times she thought she wouldn't be able to get through but she managed to get past every time. She finally made it to the end and found a very beautiful serene garden on the other side... I don't know if you noticed but this story has a meaning behind it. In life we face many obstacles "the hedge" and got stuck on our way down "the path" called life. We look at the hedge and think there is no way we can go through or move on and we tend to give up. But where do we go from there? How do we pick ourselves up to carry on. What if, maybe, we were honest with one another and each other, and ask for help. Why do we have to be perfect? Why do we make it so hard for those to come to us

Hello everyone! Back at it again. Todays post is a good one and we’re talking about faith today.  Real Moment Let me just have a real moment with you for one second. I have not been the closest with God lately like I know I should be. I let life get in the way and distract me, but I have turned back and started putting the focus back on God. I’ve started going back to church consistently, spending more time with God, and I’ve started serving at my church to get more connected. I know it isn’t easy, I hear that all the time. It really isn’t, but I can’t express to you enough how important it is to spend time with God and make Him a part of your life. I’ve seen what it does when He isn’t involved and if it weren’t for God I wouldn’t be able to get through life…not to say it’s been terrible for me but that’s just the truth. God is my life and reason for living. I just wanted to take some time to remind you guys, and to remind myself, we need to give God our time. I know it isn’t easy and

There was a time when I had thought I had it all, life was perfect, I was happy, I had everything I needed. Or so I thought I did...I soon realized what I thought I'd had, had already been gone. Funny how sometimes you hold onto things thinking you are doing such a good job only to realize it's already slipped away and it's just imagination. Anyway... Suddenly I found everything I needed was taken from me without even a warning sign (at least none that I noticed). The dream I had, I woke up to realize wasn't real and was never going to be. I begged and pleaded for things to change and go back to the way they were. The future i'd planned, I watched it just drift away with nothing I could do to stop it or get it back.  I chased that dream future, looking for whatever I could find that would be like it, to replace it, so I could have that feeling again.
