The Exit

This is a special post for you guys! Please read this whole story with an open heart and clear mind to take in the lesson that this story tells. It is a fiction story about a couple who sticks together even when the world is trying to pull them apart.

Imagine a rope. Your on one end, your (friend, boyfriend, family ETC...) is on the other end and you two are pulling it. Your trying to hold on to your ends but someone is in the middle trying to take the ends from both of you. If you focus on your partner and forget the middle voice then you will victor, but if you begin to listen to the middle voice then you might end up falling into the mud puddle. Just something to think about as you read this story...

Have you ever faced an exit, a way out, but for some reason you didn't want to take it? You thought you wanted out but now that your able to, you don't?

                                                                  The Exit
One day in a small town city, there was a young lady who got into a relationship. It had just started out and even for a small town, news hadn't gotten out yet. The two started off as friends and neighbors occasionally chatted about what may become from the friendship but no one ever saw it coming so soon. Afraid of being judged, she hid her relationship from outsiders. Her own family didn't even know. I know what your thinking..."how could she do such a thing!" She wasn't trying to hide it from anyone, in fact if someone had brought the subject up she would've told them.  Her plan was to see where things got and after about a week, if things were going good she would tell everyone who needed to know. The two were paired together for a week and things seemed to be going really well. She decided it was finally time to tell others so when her family had a get together, she told everyone. Many were excited and some were just a bit shocked by the timing. They had been just friends for a few years but no one expected them to become exclusive quite yet. The news was shared and suddenly it seemed as if the whole town knew about it. Her fears and worries had become a reality when many people began expressing their mixed opinions, and everyone had one. For the newly couple it had become overwhelming and very stressful. They began discussing how they should handle the situation. "You are a lovely girl and you deserve more than this. You shouldn't have to deal with all of this. You should leave me and find someone else, so it will be easier for you" the guy had told her. "You are the only one I want to be with and if it means I have to endure all of this for us to happen, then I'm willing to go through it...as long as you're with me" she replied. With the exit "door" closed, their was no means of escape now. She was committed to this relationship and nothing would tear her away. Don't get it wrong though...just because she decided this doesn't mean it would be easy for her from here on out. In fact, it was much worse than easy. The two went down paths that were so difficult and many nights she would cry her self to sleep. Sometimes the outside voices would bring doubts inside her head about if she should continue or not, but she knew she had to continue on. She couldn't give up, and she wouldn't. When ever it seemed like the couple was finally in peace, another big thing would happen and try to conquer their unity but one thing was sure in her heart...She might not have a ring on her finger, but she is committed as much as any fiancĂ© would be and she doesn't need a diamond to prove it. Their love and their strength was held together by their faith in each other and their trust in God. It was a unit nobody could break...but all stories have their ending. You may thinking "they must've broken up" but that is not how their story ends...after living many many years together happily married and with kids of their own, after the man had died, his wife had gone on as well. Their children lived to see the world with the lessons that their parents passed on.

The moral lesson of this story is that: it may seem like things are tearing you both apart and odds are just not in your favor...but like in this story, the tough moments are when you need to stay together the most.
