Me On Your Mind

These words ring true..."I know it was me ON YOUR MIND." Think about it, everything that God has done for us, when Jesus died on the cross for us...to think we were on his mind. Not "why am I doing this? "will I survive?" "do I have to go through with this?" "what will happen to me?" "is God really there?" But how many times do we doubt Him when we are going through trials. We accuse Him, turn our back on Him, forget what He's done, all for what? Peace? Joy? Love? We do not recieve these things because we blame God for our pain and turn from Him and only He can give us those things...without Him there is nothing therefore we feel nothing... We must rely on Him for what we desire. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, it is all from Him...so today take a moment to look at the picture of a cross and reflect on all He's done for you, and how it was YOU on His mind when he paid the ultimate price... Dear God, may we never forg...

Fall On Me

Image
Fall On Me - Needtobreathe FT Carly Pearce This song really reminds me of the relationship we all have in Jesus. We have a friend who will never leave. We have a father who cares for us. We have a healer who makes all our sickness better. We have someone we can go to, who knows exactly what we're going through. There is nothing you face, that He didn't face before you. He is your creator and your friend. Your master and your savior. Your king and your prince. He is your everything. He is our shoulder to cry on. He is our map, compass, light to our way. He never lets us down. He is the one that saves us....when you are hopeless He won't walk away and leave you in that place, He picks you up and says it's ok.  So many times we don't turn to Him. We carry this load our selves and then blame Him when we're h...

Be Your Best

Making The Mark

Sometimes we feel like we aren't good enough...like we aren't making the mark.

Miracles

Image
Many times we like to say things like "it's just a coincidence" to explain certain circumstances. In all truth, there are no such things as a coincidence. God is in control of all and nothing surprises Him. This holiday season, take some time to focus on every moment and find God's miracles all around you. If you haven't checked it out yet, go check out our blog  The Christmas Corner

Listen to that song above, the words:  " The more I praise You,  The more I want to.  I'm falling in love, falling in love with You.  I lay my life down,  God, I am Yours now.  I'm falling in love, falling in love with You.  For the stars at night,  Every sunset sky,  For it all, oh God, I say "I love You." For the world You made,  Every brand new day,  For it all, oh God, I say "I love You"  For the cross You bore,  Every nail and thorn,  For it all, oh God, I say, "I love You"  All I have inside,  Heart, soul, and mind,  For it all, oh God, I say, "I love You"  For it all, oh God, I say, "I love You" This song makes us think about our Father and how much we truly do love Him. Being a Christian isn't about being perfect, it isn't about following rules and a guideline, it isn't about being better than others. It's about being chosen by the king and creator even when we turn away and fail. I h...

Tough

Many of us like to put armor on and say we're tough, or "it doesn't bother me." Society tries to say men can't feel things, or else they are week. And as a new mom expecting a boy, I do not want my boy growing up thinking he can't feel things and be honest. Even the toughest ones still struggle internally whether they want to admit it or not. So why...why do we do this silent struggle thing, when we've all been there? I say it's time to let the armor down and show our true authentic, self, the feelings, the hurt, the pain, the loneliness. Don't let someone suffer! We're all in this together.

The Parenthood Journey

⏺⏺⏺ Update ⏺⏺⏺ I recently started a parenthood journey and couldn't be more excited! I am currently 25 weeks and my little one is due in January! It is both very exciting and also nerve-racking. It is a new experience I have never been through, so I will have to learn one step at a time. I have lots of family and friends who are very excited and willing to help. I believe it will bring us all together.  When I started this blog, I started it as a way to help others by sharing experiences I have observed and seen firsthand. I have learned many lessons in my life and I wanted to give hope to others. My hope is that throughout this journey I can continue to share my experiences and also encourage others out there who go through similar ones.  My main purpose is to bring hope and let you know you are not alone. There is always someone there who can help you! In times of need, turn to the Father who will see you and hear you. Please stay tuned for more info and updates! ...

Talking To Jesus

Image
"It's not an interruption. You couldn't have picked a better time" this phrase in this song shows us exactly how we should be. Our kids should see us actively exercising our faith in front of them. If this situation was to happen how would you react? Many times we see things as "interruptions" but many times they are opportunities to share our faith or be an example. Let your kids see you praying, talking to God through out the day, read the bible together as a family. We have made our faith a Sunday morning thing and we tend to only pray during dinner time at home. Let your guard down in front of your kids, because those vulnerable moments will open their hearts to God. Be the example

The Right Kind of Love

There's something to say for the way God loves us. He never gives up on us. When everyone else brings you down, he's encouraging you and believing in you. I have found myself in the same lonely place many times over the years, and I've learned even then he is with me. There are times we can't trust our own friends, and sometimes even our family, to be there for us, but God...we can always trust him.

Moments

Life is filled with many moments, some tough but also some really good. I used to think I understood it all but then I saw things in a different way. I recently got married March - 19 - 2023 to the love of my life. I was taking a look back at our wedding and that's when it hit me. Life is way too short to focus on the hard moments, we have to be focused on the good parts. I want to start changing my perspective and focusing more on the positive rather than the negative.  Sometimes all we need is to see the bright side to get us through this life.

Faith: What is it?

What is faith? Let's look! Faith is when we can believe in something so definitely even though we cannot see it.  It is truly believing what we cannot see

Faith Hope & Love

These three things...they are all we ever need so why do we trade them in for sadness, anger, fear, hate, doubt, and worry? Don't we all just want peace at the end of the day? Why then do we bring bad upon ourselves by allowing negative emotions or feelings in? What if we all just chose to love others, have faith and believe, and just hope... How different would things be? What would the world look like?  I challenge you this week to think about this and take every moment to express one of these

Family: Expectations VS Reality

Today's topic is all about family The Expectations (what we want it to be like) VS. Reality (what it actually is like) Many think family is perfect and happy all the time. That it's all good. The problem with that is, it's not reality and we will be disappointed when we find that out. Nothing is ever perfect and there are times when fights happen or people disagree. It is an inevitable part of life we must all face at some point but many just want to ignore it. If we had it the way we want it, everything would be perfect and we'd never fight or be unhappy.
