How to raise God loving children? Provide a good example to the children . John 13:15 – "I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do." Parents cannot successfully teach their children if they cannot show in their own doings what they preach. Children can detect the slightest deviation and hypocrisy no matter how hard parents try to hide them. Show your children the right priorities . Hello, I am Forest. I work here at FamilyFaithWisdom and most of the posts you see are written by me! I wanted to share some knowledge with you all that I have and I think the kids especially will love this one. Okay! So I'm going to guess each of you are a responsible child who does everything their parents say (like me), and as they always say "you reap what you sow." If my guess is right, and your like me, then you have been wondering why that doesn't seem to be true for you. My whole life I have been the good kid. Always doing what I'm told, doing things to surprise people and make them happy! Don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect and I have messed up more times than I could count. Today's topic is all about family The Expectations (what we want it to be like) VS. Reality (what it actually is like) Many think family is perfect and happy all the time. That it's all good. The problem with that is, it's not reality and we will be disappointed when we find that out. Nothing is ever perfect and there are times when fights happen or people disagree. It is an inevitable part of life we must all face at some point but many just want to ignore it. If we had it the way we want it, everything would be perfect and we'd never fight or be unhappy.
